MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 239
A MUNCIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM ON FRONTAGE ROAD NO. 2 (AND VICINITY)
(CROOKED CREEK INTERCEPTOR, PHASE I), IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
advertise for bids for construction of a sanitary sewer system (Crooked Creek
Interceptor, Phase I), from the existing sanitary sewer at Frontage Road No. 2 off
U.S. Highway 60 just west of I-24, along Crooked Creek to Buckner„Lane. Said project
is to be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications on file at the
office of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids by notice
published pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.. No bids shall be opened within ten days from
the date on which this order is adopted, and no bid shall be received after the hour
fixed for opening of same. All bids received by the City Manager up to the time for
opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who -may let a contract
to the best responsive bidder. The City shall have the right to refuse or reject any
and all bids.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
