MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 238
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF RURAL AND MUNICIPAL AID, COMMONWEALTH
OF KENTUCKY, FOR MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS ON CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the initial apportionment to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 1985,.less three (3%) percent set aside for an emergency
fund, is One Hundred Forty -Four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Nine ($144,329.00)
Dollars.
WHEREAS, this amount, when added.to` any subsequent apportionments and any
unencumbered balance of prior apportionments to the said City of Paducah, will be
expended by the Kentucky Department of Rural and Municipal Aid to aid the City in the
maintenance, reconstruction or construction of streets in said City.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with the
Department of Rural and Municipal Aid, Commonwealth of Kentucky, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
