A MUNICIPAL ORDER NAMING THE CONNECTOR ROAD BETWEEN U.S. 62 AND U.S. 45, WEST OF
I-24, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, JACK PAXTON DRIVE
WHEREAS, Jack Paxton was an outstanding individual and community leader; and
WHEREAS, the numerous accomplishments of Jack Paxton are reflected in creative lives
that immeasurably enriched this community and represented an outgoing, overflowing way of life;
and
WHEREAS, Jack Paxton gave to each of us ideas, dreams, purposes, principles, plans,
visions and faith, by virtue of which he was a builder of more abundant living for others; and
WHEREAS, Jack Paxton had a vital impact upon the State's decision for the resoration
and preservation of Whitehaven, adjacent to Jack Paxton Drive.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the connector road running between U.S. 62 and U.S. 45, west of
I-24, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be named Jack Paxton Drive;
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect.immediately upon its
passage.
