A MUNICIPAL ORDER REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
TYPE DOZER TO BE USED BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH
SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF..,PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

PURCHASE
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be -authorized to advertise'fb±j the purchase of a 200 flywheel
horsepower track type dozer to be used by the Refuse Department, said dozer to have the minimum
specifications according to -the specifications --attached hereto anal>by:.,reference incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for bids by-in.ser:ting notice.,of the r quest for
bids in The Paducah Sun to be published as required by law. All bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be
received after the hour fixed in the notice for opening of same. All bids received by the C ty Manager
up to the time fixed for opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners, who may let a
contract to the best responsible bidder, and the Board of Commissioners shall reserve the riht to reject
any and all bids and the City shall not become legally obligated to purchase said dozer unti the final
adoption of an authorizing ordinance and the execution of a contract.
