A MUNICIPAL ORDER SETTING FORTH THE GEOGRAPHICAL BOUNDARIES OF THE
OPPORTUNITY ZONE WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY"
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Opportunity Zone created by Ordinance No. 85-11-2763
shall consist of a forty (40) block area within the commercial core of the inner City
of Paducah, Kentucky, said area being bounded by First, Clark, Ninth and Monroe
Streets. Within this area, known locally as the Central Business District and certain
contiguous transitional areas, private ventures qualifying under the terms and
conditions as set forth in Ordinance No. 85-11-2763 may benefit fully in the incentives
granted by same.
SECTION 2. The City Manager of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized to
receive, process and grant approval to applications received from private entities
wishing to do business within Paducah's Opportunity Zone and whose proposals qualify
and meet the intent of said ordinance.
