A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A WESTERN AREA NAR-
COTICS TEAM INTER -LOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT, AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN SAID AGREEMENT -IN)
WHEREAS, the Western Area Narcotics Team has been
established in order to unite member law enforcement agen-
cies, to share resources and information to the fullest
extent possible, and to enable member law enforcement agen-
cies to overcome jurisdictional boundaries in an effort to
combat the distribution and use of illegal drugs in their
areas; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended that
the City of Paducah participate in this program.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Western Area Narcotics Team
Inter -Local Cooperation Agreement is hereby approved, and
the Mayor is authorized to sign said Agreement. This Agree-
ment is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
out in full.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and
effect on and after the date of its adoption.
