MUNICIPAL ORDER. NO. 475
A MUNICIPAL ORDER GRANTING PURCHASE MEDICAL
REALTY, INC. PERMISSION TO DEMOLISH BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners on October 25,
1988, adopted Ordinance No. 88-10-4146, setting forth the
conditions upon which the Board of Commissioners could grant
relief from the 90 -day moratorium prohibiting the demolition
of buildings; and
WHEREAS, Purchase Medical Realty, Inc. has re-
quested permission for the demolition of one structure for
the development of the medical complex on Lone Oak Road; and
WHEREAS, Purchase Medical Realty, Inc. has re-
quested permission for the demolition of a structures lo-
cated at 1184 Lone Oak Road; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners finds that a
contract for demolition has been let prior to the 90 day
moratorium, that the demolition of the building is part of
the development of a medical complex within the City of
Paducah, that the plans for improvements have been filed
with the City's Zoning Office, and the demolition is an
integral part of these plans; the 90 day delay will act an
an economic disadvantage to the developer; the building
proposed to be demolished is not historically significant to
the City of Paducah.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Paducah Medical Realty, Inc., having
met all the requirements of Ordinance No. 88-10-4146, is
hereby given permission for the demolition of the structure
located at 1184 Lone Oak Road.
SECTION 2. The Building Inspector is authorized J
to issue a demolition permit to Paducah Medical Realty, Inc.
for demolition of the structure at 1184 Lone Oak Road.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be effective upon
adoption, according to law.
