MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 388
A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR STATE ASSIST-
ANCE UNDER THE KENTUCKY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AS
ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, COMMONWEALTH OF
KENTUCKY; STATING THE CITY'S INTENT AS TO LOCAL FUNDS; AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF SAID DOCUMENTS
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the application dated February 10, 1987, to
the Department of Local Government, Commonwealth of Kentucky, request-
ing $430,665 in state funds for a public facilities grant to improve
sanitary and storm sewers in the Forest Hills neighborhood, is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is
hereby authorized to,execute the aforesaid application and to file same
with the Department of Local Government of the Commonwealth of Ken-
tucky. Said application is attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. The Board of Commissioners states that it is the
intent of the City of Paducah to match from local funds a sum equal to
the Kentucky Community Block Grant Funds which are awarded to the City
for public facilities improvements in Forest Hills in an amount not to
exceed $430,665, under the terms and provisions of the aforesaid
application, provided, however, that said intent of the City, as given
herein, is contingent upon the approval and consequent funding by the
Commonwealth of Kentucky.
SECTION 4. This Order will be full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
