HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 4441 I,a w F W la— i —dl — Il , d O,1,1 ,od i. u'4l lupi I-- 1_ 118 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 444 A MUNICIPAL ORDER REQUESTING THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE v CITY CONCERNING ANNEXATION WHEREAS, Columbia Amusement Company, Inc., the owner of a parcel of land south of the present city limits, between Lone Oak Road and North Friendship Road, has requested the City to annex said property into the City of Paducah; and WHEREAS, KRS 81A.420 controlling annexation, requires a public hearing and recommendation by the Planning Commission before an ordinance proposing annexation can be adopted by the City. BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah requests the Planning Commission of the City of Paducah to conduct a public hearing under Kentucky Revised Statutes and make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah concerning the annexation of a certain tract of land, which is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the north right-of-way of \ Bleich Road and the east right-of-way of U.S. 45 at the existing city limits of Paducah; thence in a southerly direction along the east right-of-way line of U.S. 45 1840'± to a point; thence in a westerly direction, crossing U.S. 45 and along the south property line of Columbia Amusement Company, Deed Book 172, page 576, a distance of 1080'± to the east right-of-way of North Friendship Road; thence in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of North Friendship Road a distance of 1706'± to the existing city limits; thence in an easterly direction along the existing city limits a distance of 1350'- to a point; thence in a northerly direction along the existing city limits line 368'± to a point; thence in an easterly direction along the existing city limits a distance of 945'- to the east right-of-way of U.S. 45; thence in a southerly direction along the existing city limits, also the east right-of-way of U.S. 45, a distance of 450'- to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. GERRY B.
