A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDER-
STANDING ENDORSING AND SUPPORTING THE PADUCAH MAINSTREET
PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah and the Board of Directors of the Paducah Mainstreet
Program will coordinate policy development and implementa-
tion so as to advance the best interest of the downtown of
the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, this coordination will minimize the
expenses of the Mainstreet Program by the program's partici-
pation in City administrative services, provided that it is
demonstrated that such participation is cost effective for
the Paducah Mainstreet Program.
SECTION 1.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Memorandum of Understanding pledging the City's
support of the Paducah Mainstreet Program. This Memorandum
of Understanding is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
