MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 518
A MUNICIPAL ORDER WAIVING THE SIXTY DAY TRAINING
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANT -CANDIDATES IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, there is a shortage of manpower in the
Fire
Department due to recent retirements; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to waive the sixty day
training requirement for applicant -candidates in the Fire
Department in order to adequately operate the Department.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the sixty day training require-
ment for applicant -candidates in the Fire Department is
waived for applicants hired prior to May 16, 1989.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
