MUNICIPAL ORDER. NO. 502
A MUNICIPAL ORDER GRANTING CITIZENS BANK AND TRUST
COMPANY PERMISSION TO DEMOLISH BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners on October 25,
1988, adopted Ordinance No. 88-10-4146, setting forth the
conditions upon which the Board of Commissioners could grant
relief from the 90 -day moratorium prohibiting the demolition
of buildings; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance was amended to 150 days on
January 3, 1989, by Ordinance No. 89-1-4173; and
WTiEREAS, this Ordinance was amended to April 12,
1989, for downtown businesses, by Ordinance No. 89-3-4209 on
March 7, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Citizens Bank and Trust Company has re-
quested permission to demolish a building located at 118-120
North Fourth.Street for future expansion and development at
this location; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners finds that the
demolition of the building is an integral part of future
expansion and development by Citizens Bank and Trust Com-
pany; a delay until April 12, 1989, will act an an economic
disadvantage to the developer; and the building proposed to
be demolished is not historically significant to the City of
Paducah.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Citizens Bank and Trust Company,
having met all the requirements of Ordinance No. 88-10-4146,
is hereby given permission for demolition of the structure
located at 118-120 North Fourth Street.
SECTION 2. The Building Inspector is authorized 0'
to issue a demolition permit to Citizens Band and Trust
Company for demolition of the structure at 118-120 North
Fourth Street.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be effective upon
adoption, according to law.
