MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 560
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A GRANT PROPOSAL AND ENTER INTO A PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION
CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE WEST KENTUCKY PROVATE INDUSTRY \,
COUNCIL-PENNYRILE AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, AND THE CITY OF
PADUCAH KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Career Development Program assists
economically disadvantaged single parents;
heads -of -households; to obtain employability skills and
employment by subsidizing tuition and textbooks for
vocational training and by providing personal, educational
and vocational counseling services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has served as a
contractor since !Y 1986-87 for this JTPA program which is
entirely,funded by the local West Kentucky PIC. t
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute a Grant Proposal and enter into a Program
Administration Contract by and between the West Kentucky
Private Industry Council-Pennyrile Area Development
District, and the City of Paducah. Said application is
attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set out
herein.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
