MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 626
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN FUNDING THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SALARY
ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has established a
significant history of support for the cultural arts
throughout the community with the provision of financial aid
to various local arts groups; and
WHEREAS, participation in this grant program will
allow the City to establish an innovative, highly visible
administrative position within municipal government
committed to the effective coordination and promotion of
recreational and cultural arts expression in Paducah and
McCracken County.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to obtain funding through the Kentucky
Arts Council for participation in the Salary Assistance
Grant Program.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
