A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
STATE PROPERTY & BUILDINGS COMMISSION, THE CABINET FOR
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A GRANT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $5,000,000.00 FROM THE CABINET FOR ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT FOR DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, AND ANY
AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah petitioned the
Commonwealth of Kentucky for financial assistance in
constructing the proposed Paducah Downtown Development
Project and the Governor recommended and the General
Assembly approved an appropriation in the amount of $5
million in economic development bond proceeds for the
biennium ending June 30, 1992.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an Agreement between the
State Property & Buildings Commission, the Cabinet for
Economic Development, and the City of Paducah for a grant in
the amount of $5,000,000.00 from the Cabinet for Economic
Development for the Downtown Redevelopment Project, and any
and all documents relating to same. This Agreement is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
