MUNICIPAL ORDER NO.
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING A CREDIT TO
SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2 OF MCCRACKEN
COUNTY, KENTUCKY IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,670.00
TOWARD FUTURE MONTHLY SEWER TREATMENT
CHARGES.
WHEREAS, the City is currently providing to Sanitation District No.
2 of McCracken County, Kentucky, sewer treatment services pursuant to the
terms and provisions of a sewer service agreement; and
WHEREAS, Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County,
Kentucky, is billed for these sewer treatment services on a monthly basis; and
WHEREAS, due to faulty meter readings the City has received
overpayments from Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County, Kentucky for
sewer treatment services in an amount of $39,670.00; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to provide a credit to Sanitation
District No. 2 of McCracken County, Kentucky, in the amount of $39,670.00
toward their future sewer treatment charges so as to reimburse Sanitation District
No. 2 for these overpayments made as a result of faulty meter readings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Director of Environmental and Engineering
Services and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to provide a credit
toward the future monthly sewer treatment charges of Sanitation District No. 2 of
McCracken County, Kentucky, in an amount not to exceed $39,670.00.
SECTION 2. This order will be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
