AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO
EXECUTE A GRANT APPLICATION ON BEHALF
OF THE SPOUSE ABUSE CENTER AND THE
PADUCAH COOPERATIVE MINISTRY TO THE
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL
GOVERNMENT FOR A 1993-94 EMERGENCY
SHELTER GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has for theP ast three
years applied to the Kentucky Department of Local Government for emergency
shelter grant funds; and
WHEREAS, said grant funds have been utilized by the Spouse
Abuse Center and the Paducah Cooperative Ministry to maintain programs
related to homeless prevention;
NOW, THEREFORE, by municipal order, the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute
a grant application on behalf of the Spouse Abuse Center and the Paducah
Cooperative Ministry to the Department for Local Government for a 1993-94
Emergency Shelter Grant.
This Municipal Order shall be effective March 16 ,
199 3 .
