A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1728 ENTITLED, "A
MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING THE FY2013-2014 POSITION AND PAY SCHEDULE FOR THE
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY"
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted Municipal Order 1728 on June 25, 2013, to
implement annual wage adjustments as listed below for full-time employees, which became effective June 27,
2013 for the July 19, 2013 pay date; and
WHEREAS, this action will amend the current Position & Pay Schedule with
changes as follows:
• Fire and Police step increases
• This amendment also includes clean-up and audit necessary to reflect
the correct, current number of vacant and filled positions.
• Change grade of the Community Development Planner from L to M
• Remove Patrol Clerk from Police Department and replace with
Records Clerk I
The following positions have been vacated and are recommended for removal
from Paducah Renaissance Alliance
Remove from budget total Executive Director
Remove from budget total Marketing Specialist
Remove from budget total Executive Assistant
The following positions are recommended to replace the above vacated
positions.
• Downtown Development Specialist in the Planning Department
• Special Events Coordinator in the Park Services Department
WHEREAS, in order to implement the changes it is necessary to amend the FY2013-2014
Position and Pay Schedule.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby amends the FY2013-2014 Position and Pay
Schedule for the employees of the City of Paducah as attached hereto.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
