MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 67A
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN
FUNDING THROUGH THE KENTUCKY ORAL HISTORY COMMISSION FOR
PARTICIPATION IN A KENTUCKY ORAL HISTORY PROJECT ENTITLED "THE
EFFECTS OF THE RIVERS ON LIFE IN WESTERN KENTUCKY"
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has established a
significant history of support for historical and cultural arts
throughout the community with the provision of financial aid to
various local groups; and
WHEREAS, participation in this grant program will
allow the City to preserve, illustrate and interpret the
physical, economic and social impact of the river system on
the area.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
Grant Agreement and all documents necessary to obtain
funding through the Kentucky Oral History Commission for
participation in the Kentucky Oral History Project entitled,
"The Effects of the Rivers on Life in Western Kentucky".
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
