MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 6 6 S'
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED -
IN -LIEU OF FORECLOSURE, RELEASE OF
MORTGAGE AND ASSIGNMENT AND RELEASE
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF PADUCAH WATER
WORKS.
WHEREAS, West Paducah Marine Terminal, Inc. and Paducah
Water Works have agreed to the cancellation of a note and mortgage from
West Paducah Marine Terminal, Inc. to Paducah Water Works and the
reconveyance of 206.86 acres on Noble Road in McCracken County,
Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, Paducah Water Works has requested that the Mayor
of the City of Paducah be authorized and directed to execute the Deed -In -
Lieu of Foreclosure, an Assignment of Lease and a Release, all for the use
and benefit of Paducah Water Works.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the Deed -In -Lieu of Foreclosure, Assignment of Lease and Release,
for the reconveyance of real property consisting of 206.86 acres on Noble
Road in McCracken County, Kentucky, all for the use and benefit of
Paducah Water Works. This Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, Assignment of
Lease and Release is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if
fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its adoption.
