MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 66&
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
PADUCAH CABLE COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE COMPLAINTS,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AT THE FEDERAL
COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (FCC) REGARDING RATES CHARGED BY THE
CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISEE FOR SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT
ASSOCIATED WITH CABLE PROGRAMMING SERVICES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes the
Chairman of the Paducah Cable Communications Authority to
execute complaints, on behalf of the City of Paducah, at the
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and to execute FCC Form
329, regarding rates charged by the cable franchisee for
service and equipment associated with cable programming
services.
SECTION 2. The City of Paducah further authorizes
the Chairman of the Paducah Cable Communications Authority to
take such additional steps as may be necessary to ensure that
reasonable gates are established for cable programming
equipment and services in the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
