A MUNICIPAL ORDER RENAMING THE JAYCEE
CIVIC CENTER THE ROBERT CHERRY CIVIC
CENTER
WHEREAS, Robert Cherry has dedicated years of public
service to and in behalf of the citizens of the City of Paducah and
McCracken County, Kentucky, in both his capacity as a former Mayor of
the City of Paducah and otherwise; and

WHEREAS, the City of Paducah owns and operates a public ►/
facility presently known as the Jaycee Civic Center for the use and benefit
of area citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to express its
gratitude to Robert Cherry in a formal manner which will stand as a
reminder to all of his legacy to the City of Paducah;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Paducah orders as follows:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the City of Paducah that the
Jaycee Civic Center is hereby renamed and henceforth shall be known as
the Robert Cherry Civic Center.
