A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN FUNDING THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL FOR A PADUCAH LIVING HISTORY MATCHING
FUND GRANT, AS REQUIRED BY THE KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has established a
significant history of support for historical and cultural arts
throughout the community with the provision of financial aid to
various local groups; and
WHEREAS, participation in this grant program will
allow the City to preserve, illustrate and interpret
Paducah's historical, economic and social impact on the
area by the portrayal of historical figures buried in the
Oak Grove Cemetery.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to obtain matching funding in the amount
of $1,060.50 through the Kentucky Arts Council for a Paducah
Living History Grant.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
