A MUNICIPAL ORDER DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR TIE BROOKS STADIUM
BASEBALL COMMISSION AND THE DEMOLITION PROGRAM IN THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
does hereby direct the City Manager to instruct the Finance Director to appropriate funds in an
amount not to exceed $25,000 into an account for the use by the Brooks Stadium Baseball
Commission to be used for bringing the stadium into compliance with state and local building and
electrical codes as well as for general renovation purposes.
SECTION 2. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
does hereby direct the City Manager to instruct the Finance Director to appropriate additional
funds in an amount not to exceed $25,000 into the Demolition Account of the Fire Department to
continue the demolition of properties that have been ordered demolished under the authority of
the Fire Marshal and/or Chief Building Inspector. The City Manager is further instructed to use
all legal resources possible to recoup any of these monies from owners of condemned properties.
SECTION 3. These actions shall be further ratified by ordinance with the next
quarterly budget revision ordinance.
SECTION 4. This Municipal Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
