A MUNICIPAL ORDER CREATING A BROOKS STADIUM ADVISORY
COMMITTEE TO ASSIST THE CITY IN THE RENOVATION AND OPERATION OF
BROOKS STADIUM
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established a
Brooks Stadium Advisory Committee consisting of nine members.
SECTION 2. The members of said Committee shall be
named by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of
Commissioners. This Committee and the members appointed shall
be reviewed by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners every two
years to determine continuation and/or modification of same.
SECTION 3. This Committee shall have the following
responsibilities:
* Develop and recommend to the City Commission a
plan of renovation for Brooks Stadium and
determine possible level of renovation
* Identify and recommend to City Commission
sources of funding for proposed renovation
* Develop a utilization plan and recommend those
who should have use of Stadium
='* * Develop and recommend to City Commission basic
rules/guidelines to govern day-to-day operations
°�. of Stadium
* Serve as an oversight and advisory committee to
the Parks and Leisure Services Department.
SECTION 4. The members of this Committee shall serve
without compensation from the City, may not incur any indebted-
ness to be paid by the City, and the City shall not be respon-
sible for any debts incurred by the Committee.
SECTION 5. This Order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
