A MUNICIPAL ORDER RENAMING VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS
AND DEFINING DUTIES COMMENSURATE THERETO
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That the planning and zoning functions
currently assigned to the Community Planning and Development
Department be reassigned to the Inspection Department. The
Inspection Department shall be renamed the "Planning and
Building Department", and the Community Planning and
Development Department shall be renamed the "Department of
Community Development/Housing and Grants Management".
SECTION 2. That the code enforcement responsibilities
as relate to property maintenance and existing structures in
the Planning and Building Department be reassigned to the Fire
Marshal's Office in the Fire Department.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby directed to
implement the personnel changes required by this Order.
SECTION 4. This order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
