A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1 MILLION FOR THE MARTIN LUTHER KING AREA HOUSING
f REDEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The grant application to the Department
of Local Government, requesting a Community Development Block
Grant in the amount of $1,000,000 for redevelopment of the
Martin Luther King neighborhood is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Paducah is
hereby authorized to execute the aforesaid application and
all documents relating to said grant, and to file same with
Department of Local Government.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
