A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR
MATCHING FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $400,000 THROUGH THE FEDERAL
INTERMODAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY ACT OF 1991 (ISTEA),
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A
GREENWAY CONNECTING SCHULTZ PARK, NOBLE PARK AND STUART NELSON
PARK, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING
TO SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
an application and all documents relating to same, requesting
a matching grant in the amount of $400,000 through the Federal
Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991
(ISTEA)/KYDOT, for construction of a greenway connecting Schultz
Park, Noble Park and Stuart Nelson Park.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be provided by
the City of Paducah in the amount of $80,000.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
