A MUNICIPAL ORDER DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO DISPOSE
OF PDC 554 DECK BARGE
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah hereby directs
C, the City Manager to dispose as surplus property the PDC 554 Deck Barge and to return to TVA
the leased barge.
SECTION 2. This is to be done in compliance with all legal requirements for the
disposal of surplus property. Also, the City is to recoup all costs related to the barge acquistion of
PDC 554 or as close to total cost as possible. Thus, the City should retain the right to reject any
and or all bids.
SECTION 3. The lease on the barge owned by TVA should be terminated in
compliance with terms of the lease.
SECTION 4. If it is determined that leasing the above referenced barges to third
parties is in the City's best interests verses selling and terminating the lease such option should be
submitted to the Commission for consideration.
SECTION 5. This action should be completed within 90 days or earlier upon
adoption of this order.
SECTION 6. This Municipal Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
