MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 724
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING CHANGES IN THE CITY STREET
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Avenue Relocation Project relocated the state route of
US 45 Business; and
WHEREAS, due to the Commonwealth of Kentucky releasing maintenance
responsibility of Kentucky Avenue between 27th and 28th Street; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall accept maintenance
responsibility of Washington Street from 24th Street to 28th Street as a portion of the US 45
Business state route; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is now requesting the City of
Paducah assume maintenance responsibility of Kentucky Avenue between 27th and 28th Street;

WHEREAS, the City accepts this responsibility for said street from the
Commonwealth of Kentucky.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. A summary of the proposed addition to the City street system is as
follows:
1. Kentucky Avenue, from the east right-of-way line of 27th Street extending
west to the east right-of-way line of 28th Street, a distance of 460'.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
