HomeMy WebLinkAboutCDBG Renewal (Four Rivers Recovery Center)RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY ~','', ~ AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF A RENEWAL APPLICATON FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $300,000 WHEREAS, the Governor's Office for Local Development has made operating funds available for the Four Rivers Recovery Center LLC, doing business as Centerpoint; and WHEREAS, the City is participating in the project by acting as the recipient for the Community Development Block Grant Funds; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to submit an annual renewal application to the Governor's Office for Local Development for the Community Development Block Grant Funds until an award is made. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes submittal of the 2009 renewal ,~ ~.,~' i~ ~! ~~' application for available CDBG funds, $300,000, and reaffirms that the City of Paducah adopted Ordinance No. 2006-4-7107 which authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Four Rivers Recovery Center LLC, DBA Centerpoint concerning the use of the CDBG funds.
