A MUNICIPAL ORDER EXTENDING BY TWENTY-FIVE DAYS A
60 -DAY MORATORIUM INCREASING MINIMUM LOT SIZE FOR R-2 AND R-3
ZONES IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 756, adopted on May
21, 1997, the City of Paducah directed the Planning Director to
initiate a text change to the City's Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, said text change shall increase the minimum
lot size for all real property in R-2 and R-3 Zones; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to extend this 60 -day
moratorium, which will expire on July 19, 1997.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That all City departments shall implement
those steps which are necessary to create an appropriate
multi -family dwelling development and/or subdivision moratorium
on such real property until the proposed zoning ordinance
change is completed.
SECTION 2. That the 60 -day moratorium approved by
Municipal Order No. 756 shall be extended for an additional
twenty-five (25) days.
SECTION 3. This Municipal Order shall be effective
from and after the date of its adoption.
