MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 756
A MUNICIPAL ORDER DIRECTING THE PLANNING DIRECTOR OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH TO INITIATE A TEXT CHANGE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH' S
ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Planning Director of the City of Paducah shall take action
necessary to effect a text change to the City of Paducah's zoning ordinance.
SECTION 2. Said text change shall increase the minimum lot size in the City of
Paducah for all real property in R2 and R3 zones.
SECTION 3. Further, all City departments shall implement those steps that are
necessary to create an appropriate multi -family dwelling development and/or subdivision
moratorium on such real property until the proposed zoning ordinance change is completed;
however, the moratorium shall not continue for more than sixty (60) days after the adoption of
this Municipal Order without further action by the City Commission.
SECTION 4. This Municipal Order shall become effective upon its adoption.
