A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A SECTION
319(I) NONPOINT SOURCE IMPLEMENTATION GRANT THROUGH THE NATURAL
RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION CABINET IN THE AMOUNT OF
$180,000, FOR FUNDING TO BE USED FOR THE ISLAND CREEK RECLAMATION
PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a Section 319(H) Nonpoint Source Implementation Grant
through the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet in the amount of $180,000,
for funding to be used for the Island Creek Reclamation Project. The City cash match will be
provided in the form of technical assistance, equipment, cost share programs, etc.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
