A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN AN
ISTEA MATCHING GRANT THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,000, FOR FUNDING FOR PATS TO RENOVATE
\ PROPERTY AT 1500 BROADWAY
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a grant application and all documents necessary to
obtain an ISTEA matching grant through the Department of
Transportation in the amount of $150,000, for funding for the
Paducah Area Transit System (PATS) to renovate a portion of
the building at 1500 Broadway, behind the Paducah Police
Department headquarters, to house the PATS operation. The
City will provide matching funds in the amount of $30,000 for
this project.
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
