A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
THREE-YEAR MATCHING FUND GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A UNIVERSAL HIRING PROGRAM GRANT THROUGH THE
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $396,258.64, FOR FUNDING TO
BE USED FOR
THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a three-year matching
fund grant application and all documents necessary to obtain a Universal Hiring Program Grant
through the U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $396,258.64, for funding to be used for
the Paducah Police Department. The City cash match over a three-year period will be provided
in the amount of $132,086.21.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
