A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A $.06 RATE INCREASE BY
COMCAST CABLE OF PADUCAH, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is certified to regulate
Basic Cable Rates in compliance with the Cable Television
Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992, as amended,

and Regulations issued by the Federal Communications
Commission; and
WHEREAS, by Form 1240 filed on August 1, 1997,
Comcast Cable of Paducah, Inc. claimed a maximum permitted rate
of $6.94 for the period from November 1, 1997, through October
31, 1998, a rate which was $.06 higher than the previous year's
rate for the Basic (Limited) Service Tier; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Cable Communications Authority
has reviewed said increase and conducted a public hearing in
compliance with the City Cable Ordinance and has recommended
that the City approve the $.06 increase.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Upon the recommendation of the Paducah
Cable Communications Authority, the City of Paducah hereby
approves an increase by Comcast Cable of Paducah, Inc. of $.06,
which will increase the monthly rate to $6.97 on the Basic
(Limited) Service Tier from November 1, 1997, though October
31, 1998.
SECTION 2. This Municipal Order shall be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
