A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
MATCHING FUND GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO
OBTAIN A LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT THROUGH THE U. S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $92,245.00, FOR FUNDING TO BE
USED FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a matching fund grant
application and all documents necessary to obtain a local law enforcement block grant through the
U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $92,245.00, for funding to be used for the Paducah
Police Department. The City cash match will be provided in the amount of $10,249.00.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
