MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 688
A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPOINTING JOSEPH H. FRAMPTOM
ACTING CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, Section 2-19.1 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paducah provides for the position of Acting City
Manager, which position shall be filled by Order of the Board
of Commissioners, and empowers the person so appointed to sign
checks and other documents which the Cit Manager all the Y is
authorized to sign and perform such other duties as are
required of the City Manager, during and only during such times
as the duly appointed City Manager is absent from the City or
unable to attend to duties of his office; and
WHEREAS, the position of Acting City Manager is
presently vacant.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH:
SECTION 1. Joseph H. Framptom is hereby appointed
Acting City Manager, pursuant to Section 2-19.1 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. Said Acting City Manager is hereby
empowered to perform the duties set forth in Section 2-19.1 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, which includes,
but are not limited to, the power to sign all checks and other
documents which the City Manager is authorized to sign by law,
and perform such other duties as may be required of the City
Manager during and only during such times as the duly appointed
City Manager is absent from the City or unable to attend to the
duties of his office.
SECTION 3. The Acting City Manager shall serve
without compensation at the pleasure of the Board of
Commissioners and may be removed or replaced at any time by a
majority of the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its adoption.
