A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
THROUGH THE FEDERAL INTERMODAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY
ACT OF 1991 (ISTEA), KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR
WILDFLOWER PLANTING ALONG INTERSTATE 24 (I-24), AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
an application and all documents relating to same, requesting
a matching grant in the amount of $5,000 through the Federal
Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991
(ISTEA)/KYDOT, for wildflower planting along Interstate 24
(I-24).
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be provided by
the Paducah Garden Club in the amount of $1,000.
SECTION 3. This order will be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its adoption.
