A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING EXPENDITURE OF THE SUM
OF $41,000 FROM THE GROWTH INC. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND TO
SUPPORT THE MAIDEN ALLEY THEATRE PROJECT
WHEREAS, Seaman's Church Institute, River Heritage Museum and the
Paducah Film Society have entered into a joint proposal to develop a theatre in a portion
of a building leased by the City to the Seaman's Church; and
WHEREAS, this theatre will be an improvement to a City owned building,
a valuable resource to the three participating organizations, and an asset to downtown
Paducah.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah approves the expenditure of $41,000
from the Growth Inc. Economic Development Fund for the Maiden Alley Theatre Project.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
