A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO TRANSFER A SUM NOT LESS THAN $3,445,000 TO
THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN JOINT SEWER AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, by
Ordinance No. 98-8-5927, Section 6, approved the transfer of all City assets, including
cash pertaining to the City's wastewater treatment system, to the Paducah -McCracken
Joint Sewer Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah -McCracken Joint Sewer Agency shall commence
operation on July 1, 1999.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer a sum not less than $3,445,000 to the Paducah -McCracken Joint Sewer Agency
no later than July 9, 1999. All other remaining balances shall be transferred to said
Agency after the FY1999 financial audit unless otherwise directed by the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
