A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A 2009
RECREATIONAL TRAILS REIMBURSEMENT MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $100,000.00, THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT FOR LOCAL
DEVELOPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SEGMENT OF THE GREENWAY TRAILS
PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, for a recreational trails reimbursement matching grant in the amount
of $100,000.00 through the Kentucky Department for Local Development. These funds will be
used for construction of surface trails and elevated wooden trails in the wetland areas and a
restroom at Perkins Creek Nature Preserve.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $100,000.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
