A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A 2009

AMOUNT OF $500,000.00, THROUGH THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET,
FOR THE GREENWAY TRAILS PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet requesting a
Transportation Enhancement Program Grant in the amount of $500,000.00, for the Greenway
Trails Project. These funds will be used to provide a crossing at County Park Road, a parking
lot, a bridge, surface trail and elevated surface wooden trail.
SECTION 2. Local Cash Match of $150,000.00 will be provided.
SECTION 3. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
