A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION/PAY
SCHEDULE TABLE FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, INSPECTION
DEPARTMENT, AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND TO MAKE
CORRECTIONS AS A RESULT OF AUDITING FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER
2008
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Classification/Pay Schedule Table is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Reduce the hourly rate of the Fire Chief position from $39.56 to
$36.06 and change the hours per week from 37.5 to 40
2. Correct the Firefighter 1 Year position hourly rate from $11.3587
to $11.3857
3. Increase the Deputy Building Inspector Level III position hours per
week from 37.5 to 40
4. Correct the hourly rate of Journeyman Carpenter from $18.04 to
$18.00
5. Reduce the hourly rate of Fleet Mechanic II from $18.72 to $16.50
6. Audit the Non -Civil Service and Civil Service positions in the
Public Works and Inspection'Departments to reflect the accurate
number of employees
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.

'A police officer who is regularly assigned to investigative duties in the Drug and Vice Enforcement Unit (D.A.V.E.), as a detective,
K-9 officer, Emergency Response Team member, Crisis Intervention Team member, Accident Reconstruction Team member
or bomb technician by the Chief of Police and with the approval of the City Manager, shall after the first thirty (30) days of such
assignment, receive additional compensation of forty dollars ($40) per bi-weekly pay period effective December 29, p992. Special
duty pay shall be discontinued upon reassignment of a police officer to duties other than those described above.
