A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFIT PLAN SUMMARY FOR
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 799, adopted by the City of Paducah
on April 13, 1999, the City of Paducah adopted a Comprehensive Health Insurance
Benefit Plan Summary for full time employees of the City of Paducah, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend this Plan to include certain
independent contractors.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah adopts Amendment No. 3 to the
Comprehensive Health Insurance Benefit Plan Summary for Employees of the City of
Paducah. This amendment will provide benefits for independent contractors who actively
perform the principle duties of their occupations for a minimum of thirty (30) hours per
week, and whose contracts with the City of Paducah require the availability of coverage
under the Plan. This amendment shall become effective July 25, 2000.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
