A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000, FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR A RENAISSANCE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a matching grant in the amount of $250,000.00 from the
Department of Local Government for a Renaissance Community Development Block Grant.
These funds will create opportunities for funding within the Paducah Renaissance area.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $20,000.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
