A MUNICIPAL ORDER DESIGNATING FIRE MARSHAL STEVE
KYLE AS OFFICER ACTING UNDER FIRE CHIEF REDELL BENTON' S
AUTHORITY AT FIRES
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. City of Paducah Fire Marshal Steve Kyle is hereby authorized to act
as officer under the authority of the Fire Chief Redell Benton at all
fires and investigations of fire.
2. In this capacity, Fire Marshal Steve Kyle may examine witnesses,
compel the production of testimony, administer oaths, make arrests
pursuant to warrants issued by a court of law, and enter any
building for the purpose of examination that, in his opinion, is in
danger from fires.
3. The above referenced powers are specifically limited to the
investigation of fires and potential fire hazards and may be revoked
at any time upon the discretion of the Chief of the Department.
4. This Municipal Order shall become effective upon its adoption.
