MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1141
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING TABLES 1 AND 2,
CLASSIFICATIONS/PAY SCHEDULES FOR CIVIL SERVICE, NON -CIVIL
SERVICE AND POLICE AND FIRE; AND TABLE 3, GRADE, CLASSIFICATION
AND SALARY RANGE FOR CITY OF PADUCAH EMPLOYEES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Table 1, "Classifications/Pay Schedule/Civil Service:,
Table 2, "Classifications/Pay Schedule Non -civil Service, Police and Fire", and Table 3,
"Grade, Classification and Salary Range", for employees of the City of Paducah, are
hereby amended to implement 3% salary increases, increase salary of the GIS
Coordinator position and establish rate of pay for Risk Manager position.
SECTION 2. The salary increases shall be effective June 23, 2005.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.

Note: AFSCME employees in the classifications below above shall be eligible to receive "specialty pay" once they have
received the certification for the position. The amount of "specialty pay" an employee in the classification will
receive per hour will be $0.35 or $0.50 cap depending on the certifications required for the position. The following
positions are (1) Traffic Technician -Certification - Journeyman Electrician $0.35 or IMSA Level 11 Signal $0.50
(2) Maintenance Specialist -Certification -3rd Journeyman Cerfification (HVAC/ELEC/PLMB) $0.50. (3) Maintenance
Person 1 -Certification -Journey Certification (HVAC/ELEC/PLMB) $0.35 or Welder Certification $0.35 (4) Class A
Mechanic -Certification -3 ASE Certifications $0.35 or Welder Certification $0.35 or ASE GOLD Level Certification
$0.50. The maximum hourly rate increase for any certified employee in the above classification will be caped at
$0.50/hr. To remain eligible for "specialty pay" the employee must remain in one of the classifications eligible for
"specialty pay'. A employee who is receiving specialty pay and bids or transfers to another eligible classification
will only receive the specialty pay for their new position.

'A police officer who is regularly assigned to investigative duties in the Drug and Vice Enforcement Unit (D.A.V.E.), assigned to investigafc
duties -as a detective, K-9 officer, Emergency Response Team member, Crisis Intervention Team member, Accident Reconstruction
Team member or bomb technician by the Chief of Police and with the approval of the City Manager, shall after the first thirty (30) days
of such assignment, receive additional compensation of forty dollars ($40) per biweekly pay period effective December 29, 1992. Special
duty pay shall be discontinued upon reassignment of a police officer to duties other than .
