That Table 2, "Classifications/Pay Schedule, Non -Civil Service, Police and Fire for Salary Amendments in the Fire Department" is hereby adopted. Create a Part-time Equipment Specialist position. A person may hold the position of Deputy Electrical Inspector Trainee for a period not to exceed one year upon receiving the state certification. FIRE DEPT. AUTHORIZED Note: AFSCME employees in the classifications below shall be eligible to receive "specialty pay" once they have POSITION POSITIONS RATE WORK POSITION WAGE EXEMPT GRADE received the certification for the position. The amount of "specialty pay" an employee in the classification will Officer 1 receive per hour will be $0.35 or $0.50 cap depending on the certifications required for the position.
